Nickmatic
Nicholas Maddix aka Nickmatic began his DJ career throwing parties in sleepy Boston, MA in the early 2000s. In 2005, with a number of residencies and popular event productions under his belt, he came to New York City to start playing at venues that feature top underground artists, like Sullivan Room, Cielo, Mansion, Pink Elephant, Club Love, and more. He then held a long-standing residency at the infamous "Le Souk," then the well-known epicenter of underground music in New York. Exposure at these famous NYC spots led to invitations to play in far away cities like Tokyo, Prague, Barcelona, Mallorca, and Cannes, alongside legends like Jody Wisternoff, Kaskade, Mark Farina, and Eric Kupper.
Nickmatic's style varies from Deep to Tech to Techno, but with influences like the funky Mark Farina and the great Frankie Knuckles, he always keeps an element of that classic house sound to keep crowds moving. Nickmatic's genre-bending energy is guaranteed to leave you wanting more.
